In this “How to” you will learn how to customize and personalize labels for your blank CD’s with our Maestro Label Designer. Make a lasting impression with a professional looking CD label.
- First you will need to choose from one of our 14 different CD configurations that best suits your labeling needs. When you click on the different CD label item numbers you will see that we have a huge selection of different colors and materials. Click here to see our entire selection of CD labels!
- Once you have chosen a CD label style the next step is to design it with our Maestro Label Designer.
- When you open Maestro highlight the correct CD label item number and press the “select” button. Now you’re ready to design!
- Play around with the fonts, text colors, background colors, insert images, and add different shapes to accent your CD labels design.
- Finally your design is ready and it’s time to print.
- Run a test print on a standard sheet of paper.
- Once you have your template lined up then place your labels in the printer and print.
Tips and Tricks
- You can access individual item templates from the CD labels profile page. This is a good way to save some time rather than hunting for it in Maestro.
- Be sure to look at your printer tray so you can be sure what direction to make the labels face before printing.
- Reduce smearing ink if using an inkjet print by setting your printer to a standard quality print setting.
