Our plant labels provide information for our customers including scientific and common names, size, sun/shade preferences, and description of color/flowers. Received very positive customer feedback and also helps sales staff provide customer assistance. Labels are being used outside in the weather and have been in place since September 2011 without fading.
Useful tips for this project
Labels were affixed to plastic index cards which fit into standard aluminum nursery label holders. Cards were sprayed with spray paint for use on plastics. Different color paint was used for conifers, perennials and woody plants labels to further help our customers located desired plants more easily.
