Here's what people are saying
Our standard white thermal transfer material is comprised of a white matte facesheet and permanent, all-temperature adhesive. The facesheet offers great absorption for your thermal printing ribbon, resulting in high-quality prints that are durable and long-lasting. It's ideal for a variety of general-purpose applications, including product identification, inventory labels, and asset labeling.
For operations that last six months or more, our white matte labels are a great fit. In addition, both the facesheet and adhesive have excellent cold temperature performance and work well with a variety of ribbon-based thermal transfer printers. Our selection of thermal transfer labels is available in popular sizes on 1" and 3" cores.
Thermal transfer labels use a ribbon and heat to transfer ink onto the label surface, resulting in prints that are resistant to heat than direct thermal labels. On the other hand, direct thermal labels don’t use a ribbon and are more suitable for short-term use since the label content is more sensitive to heat exposure.
You’ll need a thermal transfer printer compatible with ribbons. It’s important to match the ribbon width and material type to your label for optimal performance.
Standard White Thermal Transfer labels offer good durability, but they are not fully weatherproof. For more resistance to moisture, a Weatherproof thermal transfer material is recommended.
When properly stored and used, thermal transfer labels can last several years without significant fading, making them ideal for long-term labeling applications.
