Blockout Label Uses & Features

Most standard label materials aren't opaque enough to entirely block out underlying text and images. Our blockout labels utilize an opaque coating on the back of the label material instead of a standard clear or white one. This creates a solid barrier, preventing light from passing through the label. From the top, they're a standard, bright white label that will help colors pop, scanners read barcodes, and products fly off the shelves.

These permanent cover-up labels are perfect for the following applications:

  • Covering up shipping information on boxes
  • Making use of old tubes and packaging
  • Blocking out old shipping labels
  • Concealing outdated information
  • Masking printing mistakes
  • Fixing grammatical errors and typos
  • Safeguarding confidential information
  • Updating barcodes and QR codes
  • Adjusting pricing
