How to Make Event Invitations

Designing unique birthday invitations, wedding invitations, anniversary invitations, cocktail party invitations, baby shower invitations, or any other invitation you can dream up is easier than ever! A nicely designed invitation can make any party a success.

Steps

First, visit our simple and easy to use Maestro Label Designer or download a blank template for item number OL247.

In Maestro or your template type a message and add the party details to the card.

Play around with the fonts, text colors, background colors, insert images, and add different shapes to accent your invitations design.

Print out your design on some plain white paper just to make sure your design is fitting the template margins and printing properly.

If you have successfully finished steps 1-4 then it’s time to print your invitations.

Load OnlineLabels.com’s exclusive cardstock item OL247 into your printer and click print.

Place invitations into an envelope and make sure to use OnlineLabels.com’s standard address labels (item # OL875) for a clean look.

Sit back and wait for the RSVPs!

Tips & Tricks

  • Reduce smearing ink if using an inkjet print by setting your printer to a standard quality print setting.
  • If you have a laser printer make sure you have the paper setting set to “Card Stock” or another heavy gauge paper material setting. This will help the toner fuse to the material and reduce toner flaking or scratching.
  • Try to stick to a central theme, so you don’t over design the invitation by adding to may pictures and different colors.
  • Don’t forget to add critical information such as the events location, time, contact information for RSVP, and suggested attire.
