How to load and arrange different data fields in Maestro Label Designer

Importing Fields

From this screen, you're ready to lay out the temporary placeholders that will output your data. First, you need to select the fields that you would like added/displayed on your label design.

1. Select the fields that you would like imported into your design and click "Add to Design" after each selection, or hold the CTRL key to select multiple fields. Once you're done, hit "Close".

2. To add custom field layouts (such as LASTNAME, FIRSTNAME or CITY, STATE), select the "Create Custom Fields" radio button and add the desired fields as seen in Step 1. From here, you can then edit the fields however you want. Just be sure to keep the bracketed information intact:

3. After you've imported your desired fields, lay them out on your label template. Don't worry if it all looks a little off for now. Next, you'll learn how to format and preview your data:
