In Maestro Label Designer, select the "Print" icon in the File Toolbar.![]()
Click on "Save as PDF" to download a PDF of your design directly to your computer.
Once the PDF copy of your label design has been generated, click "OK" to save the file to your computer.
For convenience, name the file and save it as a .PDF to your Desktop.
Minimize all open windows and click on the "Finder" icon in the bottom Menu Bar.
In the Finder window, select "Desktop" from the folder list on the left-hand side. This will present a listing of the files on your Desktop. Select your .PDF file from this list but do not double-click to open it.
At the top of your screen, select "File," then "Open With," and click "Preview."
Now that you've got a Preview of your design open, go back to the top of your screen and select "File," then click "Page Setup."
Find the "Paper Size" dropdown menu and select "Manage Custom Sizes."
Set the "Page Size" to (8.5" x 11") and adjust all "Printer Margins" to 0.25." Click "OK."
While still in the Preview window, select "File," and then click "Print."
You will be presented with 3 dropdown menus. Click on the third menu and scroll through until you find "Paper Handling." Under the "Destination Paper Size" select "Scale to fit paper size:" and make sure that "Scale down only" is unchecked. Select your custom page size on the dropdown to the right, and click "Print."
