Material Overview

Our iron-on transfer paper for dark fabric is specifically made for inkjet printers. This material is manufactured for the heat transfer of photos, images and text onto dark and brightly colored fabrics. The material has a basis weight of 119 lb. and a thickness of 0.0089 inches +/- 10%.

Print Settings

• This material should only be used with an inkjet printer.
• We suggest printing the dark iron-on transfer in the "Plain Paper" material type within your printer settings.
• Load the printer so that the image will appear on the coated side of the paper.
• NOTE: Do not print dark iron-on transfer paper as a mirror image.

Tips related to Iron-on Transfer Paper Dark Material

• Store iron-on transfer paper in the original plastic clamshell packaging in a cool, dry place to avoid humidity. Storing iron-on transfer paper in the printing environment for a short period before attempting to print, allows them to adjust to any temperature changes and stabilize after shipping, which may prevent common printing problems.
• Prevent iron-on transfer paper from being exposed to direct sunlight or flood lights.
• Before you print onto the iron-on transfer paper, first print onto a blank piece of paper. Place the sheet in front of the transfer paper, and then hold the sheets up to a light to make sure the positioning is correct.
• After printing, trim away any un-printed paper around the image if preferred.
• Slowly peel away the paper backing from the transfer film.

Troubleshooting Issues Related to OL363HD

• If you are experiencing alignment issues when printing with Maestro Label Designer or a PDF, verify the page scaling is set to none and un-check the “auto rotate and center” option in print settings. It may also be labeled as “Resize Page to Fit Printer Margins.”
