Latex-Free Compliance

Latex-Free Compliance

What is it?

Since 1990, there has been an increasing awareness of allergic reactions to latex. A latex allergy is an immune response to the proteins in natural rubber latex. An individual with an allergy to latex will become increasingly sensitive with continued exposure. The best strategy to prevent latex allergies is to create a latex-safe environment where the use of products containing latex is reduced to a minimum.

What does this mean to you?

Removing all potential sources of natural rubber latex requires a review of any product an individual can have contact with including adhesive labels. Latex can be used as a modifier in some label materials to change adhesive and flexibility properties.

How can we help?

OnlineLabels wants to assist you in creating a latex-safe environment. We have contacted all our suppliers and are pleased to report that none of our labels contain natural rubber latex.
