How To Make Custom Thanksgiving Table Placecards

Step 1

Open The printable template.

You can choose to print the template as-is using the big orange button, or click "Customize More or Save This Design" to launch Maestro Label Designer.

Maestro Label Designer is online design software specifically for label printing. If you open the template using Maestro Label Designer, you can add a textbox and type names for each of your guests. That way, if you're like me and aren't that fond of your handwriting, you can choose a pretty font and be done!

Step 2

Create personalized place settings for everyone at your Thanksgiving table with printable tentcards

Print out the place cards using your home printer. The cardstock is compatible with laser and inkjet varieties.

Then, punch them out via the perforations on the sheet. There are four place cards per sheet of paper, so print as many as you need for the number of guests you will have.

If you didn't go with the online customization route, now's the time to write the names of your Thanksgiving guests on the cards.

Step 3

Pre-fold all of your Thanksgiving placecards so you're ready for the big dinner ahead of time

Fold your Thanksgiving table tents. The cardstock sheets are already scored to help with folding, so it should be super easy!

If you're not ready to set the table yet, stack them on top of each other and store for later.

Step 4

Dress up your Thanksgiving table before the big day so you can see how it looks! Picture using placecards and printables from OnlineLabels.com

Practice your Thanksgiving table decor. Do a test-run so that come that magical-Thursday, setting the table is second nature and you can focus on preparing that bird ... not to mention all of the fabulous side dishes.

I simply stacked a salad plate on top of a dinner plate with a fabric napkin in between. I also placed a few faux leaves between the plates and let them stick out the left and right sides.

Top the salad plate with one of the place cards and dress it up with a couple of small festive fall items. All of this is placed on a piece of patterned 12" x 12" scrapbook paper as a placemat.

Take it easy on yourself for at least one aspect this Thanksgiving. Print out these festive Thanksgiving tent cards and consider the table decorated!
