The jars I had ordered for my cream soap sugar scrubs turned out to have a very small label area, only a little over an inch tall. I didn't think I would be able to find labels that would fit and that I would end up having to buy larger and cut them down manually, but to my surprise OnlineLabels.com had the exact size I needed! They are amazing, fit perfectly, the templates are exact and have never given me an issue. Love them - will never order any place else for my labels!
Make sure to download the template before attempting to design your labels. Follow your printer's settings carefully, making sure that scaling or fitting is not checked in your dialog box before hitting print. I use the pdf template and it works perfectly in Adobe Illustrator. For transparent labels you'll want to consider using darker colors than you would with white labels as they can look a little washed out otherwise, especially if using a photo in your label. In Illustrator, set up your artwork in a new layer and set your label layer not to print so that you don't print up your label outlines. Not sure how that is done with other software like Microsoft Word, but you don't want to print those label outlines as your labels can look amateurish.
