Maestro Label Designer Image Quality Guide

You may have experienced a loss in image quality when printing from Maestro Label Designer. Here are a few tips to consider when designing in Maestro Label Designer.

Don't stretch small images. When you upload an image to Maestro Label Designer and try to enlarge it too much, your image can become blurry. If possible, use a higher resolution image.

Don't use an image that is much larger than your label. Shrinking an uploaded image that is too large for your label can also cause some distortion. If possible, use a smaller image that fits your label.

Why does my image appear grainy or pixelated when I upload it to Maestro Label Designer?

Uploaded images in Maestro Label Designer may appear grainy or pixelated while on-screen. This is due to image optimization that we do to enhance the performance of Maestro Label Designer. This should not have any effect on print quality as long as the image uploaded is high-resolution. As always, we recommend the use of high-resolution images to get the best print quality.

If you want an image without the white background, you need to make the background transparent.

Don't use images that have a background color

If you see a white background behind your image, re-save it with a transparent background
