New (Ctrl+N) - Start a new label design. (Read More)
Open (Ctrl+O) - Open a previously saved design. (Read More)
Save (Ctrl+S) - Save the current design project.
Print (Ctrl+P) - View printing options, or Save as a PDF on your local computer. (Read More)
Page Setup - View page setup options or use our Alignment Wizard.

Undo (Ctrl+Z) - Undo the previous action.
Redo (Ctrl+Y) - Redo the previous action.
Cut (Ctrl+X) - Cut a block of text, shape, or an image to be pasted back onto the document. Similar to Copy, but removes the original selection.
Copy (Ctrl+C) - Copy a block of text, shape, or an image to be pasted back onto the document. Similar to Cut, but copies and keeps the original selection.
Paste (Ctrl+V) - Pastes the previously cut/copied selection onto the document.

Login & Activation Information

Activation Status - View your activation status and the remaining time left on your Activation Code. (Read More)
Login / Logout - Allows you to log in or out of your Maestro Label Designer account. (Read More)

Adding Text, Shapes, and Images

Add Text - Allows you to add and customize text in your design. (Read More)
Add Shapes - Allows you to add and customize shapes in your design. (Read More)
Add Images - Allows you to add and customize images in your design. (Read More)

Design Bar

Select - Use this tool to resize or move an object. You can also select multiple objects by dragging the bounding box.
Hand Tool - Allows you to click and drag the design canvas.
Rotate Tool - Allows you to rotate or flip an object horizontally or vertically. (Read More)
Align Tool - Aligns an object to the canvas based on your settings (left/center/right, top/middle/bottom). (Read More)
Arrange Object - Arranges the layer position of each object. This is the same feature that can be found in most popular graphics programs. (Read More)
Zoom Feature - Allows you to zoom in or out of your design. If you lose view of your design, just select "Fit" from the Zoom dropdown menu and it will center your label in the Design Window.
Toggle Rulers - Overlays/hides rulers on the design for more precise measurements.
Toggle Gridlines - Overlays/hides gridlines over the design window for precise design.

Design Properties

Object Properties - Configure the size and colors of an already existing shape. You can also change the line (also known as stroke or border) color of a shape and adjust the opacity of an object. (Read More)
Text Properties - Edit an already existing block of text. You can change its font, size, alignment orientation, or color. (Read More)
Position and Size Properties - Enter and lock the width/height dimensions of an object. You can also position the object on the X/Y axis, the coordinates of which are displayed on the bottom right of the Maestro Label Designer window.
Document Properties - Change the background color of your label. You can also select the document orientation of your design - portrait mode or landscape view.
