I have been using MediaFace CD Labeling Software for some time now. it is easg to use even for a beginner & you can't beat the price anywhere.

The software is VERY user-friendly and can be used for much more than just CD labels. The actual on-screen graphics representations of the labels let you see how your label will look AS you design it.

Well engineered and comprehensive product with some minor flaws, mostly in documentation.
For example, when I upgraded my DVD Recorder, it came with a MediaFace 5 which I considered an upgrade from my licensed and registered MediaFace 4. Initially, I could no longer access many of the existing labels used with my many completed Projects. The on-line documentation seemed geared to the on-line version and I had to call the Help Desk to get a link to download the old templates. Then after only two uses, the program claimed I had used up my 30-day demo period and was useless. I couldn't back out to my registered version because the newer version had changed the databases associated with the projects I had loaded. Finally, after days of wrangling, they gave me a permanent Serial Number. It also becomes *very* sluggish when there are several graphics loaded and text for booklets - even with 1G memory and a 4.0GHz PIV/Windows XP Pro.
But I really like it's power and live with the limitations.

Like most CD Labeling software i found this one to be extremely limiting. I prefer to use microsoft publisher, or if it is lightscribe Nero cover designer because it lets me center the CD and layers the boundaries nicely

We have used MediaFace CD for our cd and dvd labels for 3 years now. It was easy to learn to use, and has served us well as design needs change. With all the application templates it is the only labeling software we need.

I have used MediaFace CD Labeling Software in the past and it seems to be somewhat limiting as far as creativity goes. I have not had a chance to play around with the software much lately but I would say it is not the best product for someone an experienced designer would be satisfied with.
