Great Program!
Nick 5/15/2008
Easy and quick workflow for us. since upgrading to CS3, it's run a lot faster on our leopard systems.
Milagros R. 5/16/2008
I currently use indesign and find it fabolus for the ease of changing and adding things to the labels I buy from you. I select the fill and stroke to eliminate it when I'm ready to print and thats it, fabulous label in color with all the designs I might want to add to it, no problem. But then again grafic artist etc. are the main users of these adobe products so I don't know how accesible they are to the everyday person that might want to print a label.
Ingrid N. 5/19/2008
I love InDesign CS3. It is complicated but sophisticated and gives total control over the pdf or printed result.
Joe E. 5/19/2008
InDesign is a challenging program for the novice user. I got specified training in-house and, like learning a language, if you don't practice your skills will diminish.
Dawn Z. 5/19/2008
InDesign CS3 is a top quality program that is easy to use whether you're an experienced designer or just getting started.
Mary 5/20/2008
I mostly use Illustrator, but InDesign rocks too! Adobe is it for me!
Jason 5/21/2008
InDesign CS3 is a great product! Could not live without adobe.
JOSEPH 5/21/2008
Though Adobe software, like InDesign CS3, is sometimes way out in left field as far as user friendliness goes, I've found that by going with more high-end software I have fewer dreams and more reality in ideas and projects.
David 5/22/2008
I was a die hard QuarkXpress lover until they started charging outrageous prices for just the upgrades so I didn't hesitate to get InDesign when it came out and absolutely love the interactive flow with all of the other Adobe softwares. Quark can't do that! The CS3 version of InDesign is even better!
Kathy 5/22/2008
I have been using Adobe software for years, first in my Forest Service career creating interpretive material, now retired as a soapmaker creating labels for packaging my product. Indesign CS3 is a versatile program, allowing me to change my label design readily (with graphics created in Illustrator CS3), change colors, adjust placement, wrap text, play with graphic placement. Indesign is an amazing program, and I could not see myself living without it once I retired 3 months ago, trying to get by on lesser programs. I sing Indesign's praises daily, enjoying "getting lost" in the creative process in my Adobe programs.
Amy 5/23/2008
I use Photoshop and InDesign CS3 for all my designs and then import the design into InDesign for label size and position.
Brian V. 5/23/2008
Adobe's QuarkXpress killer. Being a graphic arts professional, I use InDesign CS3 on a daily basis. It's seamless integration with other Adobe products such as Illustrator and Photoshop make it clear why InDesign is fast becoming the professional's layout program of choice.
Pat K. 5/26/2008
Open a new one page document. Use file, place to insert the pdf template downloaded from onlinelabels. Add a new layer to hold text labels. Turn off the layer with the template and print. Quick and easy.
Dorthi P. 5/26/2008
I use InDesign CS3 for a wide range of projects. It has become, in my opinion, the standard for desktop publishing. And because I use it so much, I have also designed labels from it. Most of my clients require custom artwork, and although most programs have adequate templates for labels, I usually don't use them and instead start from scratch. However, I have also used Label Maker Pro (which I would prefer if I had to do a large amount of standard labels) and Print Studio, which I do not like because it seems unnecessarily tedious. thank you Dorthi Partnoff
Lorin P. 5/27/2008
InDesign works very efficiently in creating labels, especially for unusual labels sizes the MS word does not have.
Michael V. 5/27/2008
being a busy east coast designer, i always look for software that is all encompassing and can handle the everyday needs of me and my business. Indesign CS3 and the Abode family for that matter are really great at integrating all softwares they offer. Indesign, in particular is great for pre-press layouts and easily keeps long publications in order. im also very fond of the way adobe allows integration between, say, photoshop, flash, and illustrator to name a few. elements from specific to each program, when utilized in Indesign, can be easily edited in their respective programs. all in all adobe has really treated me well over the last 10 years and i look forward to them further pushing the envelope.
Forrest M. 5/27/2008
Began Desktop Publishing with Adobe Pagemaker. Over two decades later I have successfully replaced all files with Adobe InDesign CS3, a robust page layout program that is tightly interwoven with the other Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, menus, tools, etc.). I use InDesign for all label work, including layout and design. It has a very efficient print driver for quick delivery and fine tuning output. I would always suggest using professional quality software for label work, because it gives you better opportunity to refine layout.
Derek 5/27/2008
This version of InDesign has Additional Photoshop effects, great new table, and cell styles. It even has the ability to import InDesign files. You can customize the interface. It's Universal binary. However, it lacks dazzling new design and typographic features. Some features like(text variables, GREP searches, nested style looping) are hard to use.
David 5/27/2008
We use InDesign for all our packaged product labels. The ability to incorporate graphics & text in infinite ways makes InDesign the most versatile for our constantly changing label needs.
Cynthia 5/27/2008
I bought some glossy labels that can be peeled off and reapplied if you get the label on crooked. The templates online made it so easy to layout what I needed with InDesign. We label bottles of UV Ink that digital photographers use for printing pictures and refilling inkjet cartridges. Before this we were just using our Dymo Labelwriter 400 in black and white. Now are able to put a very professional four color label on our products. The labels are gorgeous and really show off our products. Many, many thanks! Cynthia Hunter, CEO, TheInkDot.com
Elizabeth K. 5/28/2008
we use InDesign CS3 to make our brochures
Elaine N. 5/28/2008
InDesign CS3 is a program that offers many options. It's nice to have a "one stop shop" when you need to get a project done quickly.
Stephanie B. 5/29/2008
InDesign CS3 is agreat alternative to quark - easy to work with illustrator and photoshop.
Alan S. 5/29/2008
InDesign CS3 is the best program out there for creating exactly what you want, with powerful graphic features.
Dee H. 5/29/2008
I currently use PageMaker software by choice. I will eventually upgrade to InDesign. PageMaker is by far the software of choice. All of the Microsoft products I have used, and currently use, do not come close.
Doug H. 5/29/2008
Indesign works well for us because we use the whole Adobe creative suite in designing and a lot of the file we get are Adobe files so there are hardly ever any conflicts. It is my least favorite of the Adobe programs but it works well for layouts.
Yolonda A. 5/29/2008
I Love indesign, that's is where I print the circle labels that I purchased from you. I used to be a head strong all the way Quark user but once I got the feel for Indesign CS3, I love it. We do use another label maker program for DVDs and CDs, but that is PC only. I use a mac and would never go back. Thanks, Yolonda
LAURA D. R. 5/30/2008
InDesign CS3 is a very profesional software, a bit complicated to use at the beginning but very reliable.
Michael N. 5/30/2008
I have used Adobe Indesign CS3 for over a year, and I find that it is an invaluable resource when creating any kind of specialized text(flyers, promotional material, or labels). There are a wealth of fonts, and hundreds of features that I haven't even skimmed the surface of. Despite the hefty price tag, I consider all of the Adobe products to be the benchmark against which other design software is measured.
Anysia K. 5/30/2008
I use Adobe Illustrator CS3, though it is not a software selection from the drop down menu. I scan the label images into my computer and then add the graphics, copy, etc. I think from a graphic perspective, it is the best program available. Some people do not care for it because it can be complex, but I have been working with the Adobe products and Mac for years and am an avid fan of both product lines.
Debbie M. 5/31/2008
InDesign CS3 is a great program for most designing jobs. A great combination onf Quarkxpress and Illustrator. I absolutley love it and use it for most of my design jobs now. There is somewhat of a learning curve but it is well worth the rewards!
Dennis M. 6/3/2008
I love inDesign I use it for almost everything.
Rachel C. 6/3/2008
absolutely love it! could be a little more user friendly, though.
Brynne C. 6/3/2008
As a small publishing company, we find using InDesign CS3 to be easy, intuitive and a whole lot of fun!
Sarah P. 6/4/2008
I've been using trial versions of InDesign and QuarkXpress v7 to update demand-print food label files in older versions of Quark; not only does InDesign not read the newer Quark files, since 2005, but it has even greater system requirements (strange screen refresh artifacts probably due to my machine's limits). I like having a nitpicker's typographic control, but if it weren't for preserving the exact text of legacy items, I would say these programs are way overkill. My client is perfectly happy with new labels I created with OpenOffice or even Maestro online. However I created them I now try to keep the collection in PDFs.
Myrtle L. 6/5/2008
Nice intuitive layout.
Arlene 6/5/2008
We only use InDesign, Illustrator. Aren't familiar with the others listed.
Paul S. 6/6/2008
I use InDesign for all my page layouts, and that includes my mailing and CD labels. Other label software may be quick and easy, but they are so restrictive. InDesign gives me all the freedom and flexibility I need.
Eddie Y. 6/18/2008
A very comprehensive labels software program
Todd 6/18/2008
Very good but time consuming and a long learning curve to get up to speed.
Gary 6/19/2008
Great software.
Peter W. 6/19/2008
Certainly one of the most versitile label software options available.
Lori J. 6/19/2008
This is a very powerful program that helps you publish many types of documents - but it is a bit confusing at times, you need to take a class or two to get its full benefit.
Karl G. 6/19/2008
Nicely integrated with the rest of the Adobe CS3 line. On Intel Mac OS X systems sometimes a crash will occur when selecting a "save as" folder. Other than that, a great layout program. Thanks again Adobe to the team.
Romana G. 6/20/2008
I own this software as a part of my CS3 Master Suite collection and I am really happy with it so far. I am use to work with Adobe products and I feel they have virtualy no limitations once you learn all the features you are working with.
Barney R. 6/21/2008
I used Quark X Press for a long time and now that I change to In Design CS3 it is a BIG difference and the frindliest part is the most important issue.
Brenda F. 6/21/2008
Nothing comes close to touching the greatness of this program for layout.
Deb S. 6/21/2008
At work I use CS3, but do have a lot of the cd label programs. I find them all useful. Some more than others. It seems with the cd programs its hard to get your graphics to sit properly when you're printing two identical labels on a sheet. It seems like one is slightly off, especially in Publisher.
Kimberly L. 6/22/2008
I've been using Adobe software in my professional career, which was a great asset to me as I started my own business. InDesign is a fabulous tool for the creation of web pages, flyers, catalogs, and more. While it is not by itself an "all-in-one" graphic design program, it has been invaluable to me.
jared b. 6/22/2008
amazing easy to use and full of professional features tool makes my album art liner notes a cinch! being able to place pictures around text in such a simple manner as well as it layout is great
Amanda S. 6/22/2008
I had no issues using the label templates in both InDesign and Photoshop. I use those programs for all my other marketing and stationery, so I'm glad I could use it for my labels as well. The only problem is you must remember to hide or delete the template guidelines or else they will print and you'll have black lines on the labels.
Mary T. 6/22/2008
Easily the best software for labels out there.
YOUNG L. 6/23/2008
Easy to use and possible to import to various file formats.
S Holstein 6/23/2008
Not my fave for label layout, I would rather use Illustrator.
KATIE V. 6/23/2008
The labels worked wonders, and the variety of templates was a huge help. Thank you, Onlinelabels.com, for making my wedding so memorable!
Tatiana 6/23/2008
I really like InDesign and feel that it offer so many creative options. However I do think that it's definitely for a more advanced user. If I wasn't so well-versed in Photoshop, I think it would take me a long time to learn it.
elizabeth b. 6/23/2008
i use illustrator.....didn't see that option in software choice
Ann S. 6/23/2008
GREAT. Had to order via phone. The gentlemen that I talked to was very helpful and the samples requested arrived promptly. We are now testing the product to see if it meets our requirements and will order accordingly.
Tinyah 6/23/2008
I use InDesign cs3 and couldn't make it without it. It is easy to use along with your labels and creates a beautiful finished product.
Jose M. 6/23/2008
By far the best product on the market, not as easy to use as the other software on the market, and overpriced compared to the others, but has much more to offer!
Brace H. 6/23/2008
Very expensive program, but worth it for the long haul. It takes a while to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it can take you in many different directions of design.
Lori B. 6/25/2008
InDesign CS3 is the most comprehensive page layout program and label software that I've seen. Very adequate for a professional graphic designer.
Walter G. 6/25/2008
I like your store it has anything I need for labels especially label software.
Christian B. 6/26/2008
Online Labels was very helpful in my purchasing decision from start to finish. I found the product I needed. Sent to me in timely manner. And they showed great patience with all my questions and concerns. They seem to really care about: quality products, service and price. I will purchase again with them. Software really helped guys thank you very much. Kind regards, Christian
John P. 6/26/2008
Professional-level software 98% of the advertising agencies use in the United States. Has enough of basic features that Illustrator and Photoshop have to be able to create anything you can visualize directly within the program, or seamlessly link to those programs effortlessly for complex designs. You can build templates and libraries quickly that can become a drag-n-drop label designer app that you can distribute to your less-than-visually-endowed colleagues for top design products.
Melinda E. 6/26/2008
We love the flexibility of being able to use IndDesign for our labels..
Luann P. 7/1/2008
This label software is very easy to get started and versital sizing.
Robert Grady 7/1/2008
Very user friendly. Create awesome posters, ad slicks, newsletters, books, magazines. With only seat-of-the-pants trial and error training, I've created products using InDesign that have impressed even the "pros" and the work has graced the inside covers of numerous professional journals and magazines. Great tool!
