I run a gluten-free blog and am providing labels to restaurants and individuals who want a better way to label their food products for safer eating.
The biggest tip was to design this using Photoshop and Illustrator to ensure the best layout for my curving text and making sure I didn't go outside the bounds of the oval label. It is a little easier for me given that my day job is a graphic designer, but for the most part do-it-yourself label projects have become so much easier over the last couple years.
