The label design was done in Photoshop and uploaded into the Maestro Label Designer software. From there I simply change the name of the scent depending on which candle I've made. My bottom safety labels are all printed using the Word template. If you want to blend colors on your label as I've done with mine, try creating a base template in your own software and leaving all of the text off of it. You can go back later and add/change text. This is so much easier than trying to duplicate an existing label and match colors later. Also, print out a few labels with different colors and font styles to see how they "feel". What looks good on the screen may not have the same appeal in print. Ah, one final hint...make sure your colors run over the outside edges of the template so that when you print you won't have to try and trim off any white from around the edges. I can't tell you how many oval shapes I ended up with from trying to trim away white strips before I figured out that I could just extend my colors a few millimeters beyond the edge of the label and eliminate this problem all together.
